Wish I could see the inside, I will be attending this school this year so it would be cool to see what its like but it seems like a good school. Sounds like a good community. But why is the high school so far away from the town?
Just as Mr. Wade Whitney, the school principal says at the end of every public speaking event, George County High School is the best high school in the great state of Mississippi. I find all the staff friendly and helpful and even though George County takes its sports programs seriously, they take greater pride in educating our children. Mr. Whitney and teachers went out of their way to ensure my child's GPA wasn't affected by a sudden change of living arrangements. I'm proud to have sent my son there even if only for a few semesters. Also as Mr. Whitney tells his students, "There's never been a better time to be a George County Rebel than right now."
Loved going to school here. Proud to say that I am a graduated of 2015. And they have the best teachers.
